Artifacts in Action

That's what the Culture Trunks are all about. The Center for East Asian Studies offers teachers the opportunity to check out a Culture Trunk from any or all of three countries: Japan, China, and Korea. Trunks are packed with various items that reflect that country's unique culture, from receipts to hats, maps, books and shoes. Each trunk comes with a Teacher's Guide to help make the artifact experience more meaningful to both students and teachers.

To find out more about checking out a trunk, email ceas@ku.edu

To get an idea of what you will find in a Culture Trunk, please click on the name of the country whose culture you are curious about.
